I've always had good luck with Universal AGM batteries. They are made in China but on the plus side the price is much better. My current house batteries are group 31 and after 2 years are as strong as new.
One of my reasons for AGM is I put both batteries up in front of the radiator for more weight over the front axle and I didn't want battery offgasing to harm the radiator.
