Recommended Snowbird Sites On East Coast of Florida

My wife and I would like to spend the upcoming winter season in our RV on the East coast of Florida. We would welcome any recommended locations and RV parks based on past experience of others. Thank you in advance.

Orange city rv resort it is a sun resort and very nice. Was there last year, it is right off I4 and 20 min from Daytona. Is close to any kind of shopping you need.

We really like Bryn Mawr RV Resort in St Augustine, Fl. Have stayed there several times and love the beach access and all the sites to see around the area. Also far enough north so the young and drunk aren't all over the place.

We second the St Augustine area. We've spent part of the last couple of winters at North Beach Camp Resort.

Before you narrow down to one please check out The Great Outdoors in Titusville. Two restaurants, 18 hole golf course, two pools, post office, everything you could need for the winter plus so clean you can eat off the streets. Plus Kennedy Space Center in near by. Please check it out.

Stuart & Port St. Lucie Area

We visited Motor Coach Resort in Port St. Lucie while on vacation in May. We liked the people and the facilities very much. We would definitely consider renting there or buying a site. We've been going back to Stuart ("Sailfish Capital of the World") and Port St. Lucie over the years, during the Fall, Winter and Spring. It is a very enjoyable and quiet area for the most part, with long and almost deserted sandy beaches at times. There are a couple of museums and historical places worth visiting. Winter temperatures, on average, are not as cold as cities located further North along the Eastern coast of Florida.

We have stayed at Vacation Inn Resort in West Palm Beach. A beautiful property with 2 pools, tennis, etc., and golf course across the road. This gated park is in the middle of everything--near beach and parks, yet many people don't know it is there.

We have really enjoyed staying at Beverly Beach Camptown in Flagler Beach. Some of the sites are steps from the sand and its a great area in general. You're halfway between St. Augustine and Daytona, and the big bonus for us is that the beaches are dog friendly - which is extremely difficult to find on FL's east coast.

There is another highly rated park nearby called Flagler by the Sea but we haven't actually stayed there...yet.

My wife and I have been wintering in the Florida Keys for 4 winters now and love it! The Keys are laid back and the temperature is almost always 80+. The first 2 years we rented an RV lot at the Venture Out Resort on Cudjoe Key (link below), which is actually a condominium of lots, before we bought one....

Most lots have a 35' dock at the rear of the RV lot and the resort has a nice pool, hot tub, marina, tennis courts, 24 hour security, events, etc... There is an onsite realtor/rental manager (waterfront keys realty), but since each lot is owned individually, we used Craig's List to find available lots for rent and saved the rental management commission.
