Interesting, the parks in Arizona we stayed in last year didn't ask for my SSN, and I wouldn't have given it to them if they had asked!

Not sure where you got your information, but you might want to do a reality check . . .

We also didn't fill out any AZ State forms, but that may be a new thing, or perhaps didn't come into play since we didn't reserve for months at a time?

Yez the do and if you retire they tax that no matter where you live. Anytime you can make it harder on them to collect do it. Wa and Cal are scufflaws via their leadership. Montana sounds like a good plan.
