Remanufactured (rebuilt) engine Businesses to trust?

Hi to all the good people on this forum.
I would like to know your good experiences with companys remanufacturing long block 454 chevy motorhome engines and shipping them to the customer. It seems that there are some companys that are not on the up and up if you get what I mean. If you folks could relate your good experiences it will help guide me in decision making.
Thanks in advance.

A rebuilt engine is just rebuilt and only broken worn parts replaced and not as good as remanufactured. A rebuilt is done on a floor in some shop such as a repair or small local shop. A Reman on the other hand is complete tare down and inspection of everything and high tech equipment used to check crankshaft and everything must pass or exceed OEM specs and updated with better parts that were weak link when made new the year it was made. A reman can also be cheaper when a complete exchange unit is bought and the shop can do swap in and out quickly where a local shop doing repairs can take 3 times longer waiting around for stuff to get done. That said, I have used Jasper Engines for last 20 years and never had a problem with them with my construction company pick ups and cars engines and trans. They have installer shops around the country and supply these shops daily. I myself have the tools and place do do all my own installations and buy direct from Jasper at a installers price

Are you looking for a complete engine swap or a long block swap?

Having worked a few years at a Chevy dealers parts counter, I would go with a Jasper if it was me. Great warranty, they stand behind their product, and we never had one come back.

Jasper seems to me to be the best plus you can choose a higher performance level

I have been a Jasper dealer & warranty center for over 12 years and in that time I have never had them deny any warranty case. They are by far the best you can buy lot of company's talk big about there warranties but when you need them you can find them. Jasper as been around since the 40's and going strong.

I just got one from Engines Direct in Phoenix. They ship anywhere and pay for the core to be shipped back. Fast service and quality work. They're on the web.

I've used Eagle Engines, same type of warranty as Jasper and good quality too. I own an automotive repair shop.

Jaspers warranty on motorhome engines 18month/100,000 miles. Parts&labor
Eagle engines warranty on motorhome engines 30day/3,000 miles
Engine direct warranty parts only & only 12 month warranty on non motorhomes so I'm sure it a lot less on motorhome engines if any.
