Remove the oven and build a pantry
We have an Atwood R-V1735BBP Range that’s practically brand new and hardly ever been used. We want to keep only the cooktop with the propane burners and get rid of the bottom oven. Before I tear into it and see if they can be separated, I wanted to ask all of you if this can done or does this unit have to stay together as once piece? Or, do I just scrap the entire thing, buy just another cooktop as a single unit and install it?
Ultimately what we’d like to do is, remove that oven, and convert that area to a pantry.

I don't believe they can be separated, you can buy a cook top though.

Do you have the oven/range manual? It will show what's connected. The propane line might have to be re-worked. Why not just use the oven as your little pantry? Find a couple wire pull-out shelves to fit.

I went the opposite way and took out the cooktop and put a cooktop/oven. From what I see they can not be separated. You can buy just the cooktop and sell your oven unit.

I've got doing the same on my list. Just waiting on a new supply of round-to-its to come in. Been on backorder for a while. I haven't gone much deeper than a online research but looking at the parts break down regarding separating the range top from the oven it's not looking good. Most of the range will seperate but the problem is the sides and back are full length so you'll need to fabricate or find a replacement burner box. You also have to bank off the gas line to the oven control.
A three burner gas top will set you back around $300. Two burner maybe half. Or you can live on the edge a bit and go induction but you'll need to get a dedicated power line installed and do a power budget to ensure you have the capacity in the generator to support. If your coach is 50 amp shouldn't be a problem. Basic 2 burner model is spec at 1800 watts or 15 amps @ 120 VAC.

We only used our oven to store pots and pans so during our reno we had the shop remove the oven and install a set of drawers. The oven and cook top are one unit and not separable. Need to buy a new cook top.

I would remove both, build pantry in the oven spot, and replace the cook top with a two burner induction cook top.

We have a 2 door cabinet below our oven where the oven would reside if we had one. Works good for a pantry but its a bit deep so I had a local cabinet shop install a slide out tray in it. We can now store a lot of stuff in there and pull it out to get things from the back. Works great.

I have the typical 3 burner top and oven below. I hate my 3 burner top. I wish I could switch the top and have two burners in the front and the single in the back. Don't use the gas oven except for storage. I have convection /microwave above the gas range. I like the thought about the induction burners though.

That's exactly what I want to do. Maybe take a pic and post it. PLEASE!
I've already updated the sink & faucet by taking out that awful dual plastic OEM basin sink to a slightly larger, single stainless basin sink & Moen Spray fixture. Since I cannot separate the old oven/cooktop and have to buy a new single cooktop that's fine BUT now I would really like to find a stainless cooktop to match the sink instead of a reg. black one. I'm going to investigate this further.
