Ours is a triple E Commander as well. I like what you have done with your TV.
Thanks for the picture. That will be my next job.

Here is what I did. I installed the tv above the left chair so my daughter can watch it legally from the sofa while I drive . I then built a storage box for the original tv spot and repurposed the door I removed for the tv install and installed extra aux power and usb ports in the shelf under the door.

I also installed a 1000w pure sine inverter, a phillips sound bar and a wdtv box. I ripped all my movies onto a portable hard drive.Attachment 64656Attachment 64657

Wow that is nice. Your daughter I'm sure appreciates that effort.

Just started my project today. Hope to have it finished tomorrow. Putting in a 32" with wifi. I am going to shorten the cabinet 6 or 7 inches.

Mine is overhead but the plan is a lot like it.. I may post photos when I'm done but I've cut the bottom of the "Box" so it is a closer fit, May still trim a bit more, Have an agreement with a local cabinet maker to make a door. Will panel and install shelves behind the door once I have it in place (right not it's too hard to remove the TV)

For now it looks as good as the original but no extra storage.. yet.

Ill use trays for CD's and DVD's and some other electroincs in that compartment.
