Very Nice

You can never have too much storage space in my opinion. Looks great
Self locking drawer slides?

That's exactly what I'm working on right now in our Triple E. Did you replace the old TV with another somewhere? I put a 32" LED on the driver's side which can be seen from everywhere and stores completely out of the way. Nice job on the drawers. I need some time now to build mine.

What we do now as we only watch a movie once in a while.(Both DW and I are not into TV)
I put a flat screen above the the new drawers on top of the dash. It works out great a very comfortable height for watching. When traveling we put the TV under the bed.

Thanks for the comment. There are no drawer slides. The reason for this is drawer slides can vibrate and rattle a bit. I like the wood on wood friction. Keeps the drawers in place no matter what the road conditions are.
And of course there is not enough acceleration power. For them to fall out.

Ours is a Triple E. If possible could you post a picture of how your TV is set up. Putting ours under the bed for travel is a bit of a pain.

Removed the Television

I also have a 1999 Triple E Commander a3503.

Here is what I did. I installed the tv above the left chair so my daughter can watch it legally from the sofa while I drive . I then built a storage box for the original tv spot and repurposed the door I removed for the tv install and installed extra aux power and usb ports in the shelf under the door.

I also installed a 1000w pure sine inverter, a phillips sound bar and a wdtv box. I ripped all my movies onto a portable hard drive.Click image for larger version

I also ripped all our DVDs and got a WDTV for our RV. Probably one of the more enjoyable things we added to the RV lately!

How do you get the DVDs onto the wdtv device?

What you need to do is play them on your computer and use an application to make a digital file of the movie. You will want to store all your digital copies of your movies on an external hard drive that will then plug into the USB port of the WDTV player.

Personally I prefer the WD 2TB Passport drives. They are small, very reliable and can be purchased at cost for a little over $100. To give you an idea how much they can store, I have a little over 850 movies on my Passport and 27 TV series (some with dozens of episodes) and have only used about 1.2 TB of space.

I see you have an iPad2 from your signature. Do you have a Macintosh computer as well? If so I can PM you the name of the software you use to make the digital copy of the movie (it is free) and some information on how to use it. It is very easy to do.
