Removing tail light lens, 2006 Monaco Knight

How do I remove the tail light lens in order to replace a burned out bulb. Can the lens be removed without removing the entire assembly from the motor home?

Hello and We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.

Does the lens not have screws through it? You should be able to pull at least the fixture and possibly have a bulb socket that will twist out to access the bulb.

There is no screws holding the lens in. The problem is that it is almost impossible to reach the back of the fixtures in order to remove the light assembly and change the bulbs. On a Monaco Knight 2006 there is a notch next to the lens in the body that looks like it would be used to pry off the lens. I have tried to pry the lens off using a screwdriver but am afraid of damaging the lens. Before I pry harder I would like to know if that notch is there for that purpose.
Thx for your help.

I used to have an 07 Knight and if I remember correctly you just twist the bulb housing from the back. The left side is much more difficult due to the air duct being so close.

Good luck,
