Nearly finished!! I retired yesterday, pick up the finished Motor home tomorrow at 11.00am, and drive off into the sunset on Saturday the 21st December. There is still a copper stripe to go on tomorrow morning, to delineate the change in colour, and of course all of the awnings and spare tyre and so on to be added. I believe they are going to black the tyres too, so it should look fabulous. More pics tomoorow!

Very nice!! I like the colors. Are you going to install the awnings, mirrors and all the rest yourself or is that part of the package?

All part of the package. Mirrors and awning struts are all the fawn colour, I am going to take some pictures of the finished product today.

The new paint job will look good.

Graham looking forward to seeing the photos on completion. We are across the ditch in Australia. We have a 2001 Coachmen Mirada 321DS we love it & into our 4th year with this motorhome we have called ours Work & Play. Eventually i'll put a big line thru the Work bit LOL.

The lines on your paint scheme are very similar to what I would do. The difference on mine would be to have the lower color a sea blue and make the long line of that color like an island coastline...a bit more wavy and paint a small Tiki hut and a slow raising wave with a little surfer gal riding it near the end of the coach.

On the back of the coach would be a few palm trees and a large painted "Relax" sign made of sun beaten wood.

No dang swirlies/swishes/swoonies...

Looks good. Classic, timeless look. I would have gone a bit brighter for my lower colour but we're all different so it's all good. I'm guessing the American RV scene is relatively small there (Heck your Winnie was a different company I believe, now Avada or something?) I think your climate is more motorhome friendly then mine (Rust belter). Did you have to convert to 220 (I think you guys are 220), and how is driving a left hand drive there go or did you have to convert it?

I love the look. You have picked colors that doesn't go out of style and the design of the coach pulls it off very nicely. Amazing result! Where did you source the decals and emblems in the front?

The wings decal are the symbol of the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association, and allow access to various camping sites and discounts for travel between the main islands of this small country.

I see. Can't wait to see what you got going inside!

Could you share the paint code you used? I just might copy you if you don't mind.

I see from your pictures that the Mirada is right hand drive. Was it modified or was it built that way from the manufacturer??

Nice paint job!!
