A little more information would help. Where are you now? What make, model, and year of your coach? Give us the specifics and we can better direct you.

I am not sure about Canada, but get as much work done before you get to Alaska as you can. We have engine/chassis work done in Alaska, but for most everything else we wait until we have a trip to the 'lower 48'. There maybe places to get some 'minor' repair done in Alaska, most shops are not set up for it.

Having made that trip to Fairbanks, Alaska many times, I'd think you wouldn't need the A/C for the entire trip up and back to Montana.

Like R2Home, I'd wait. But in my case, I'd wait until I got to Mexico and have it done there.

But, there is a highly thought of RV dealer in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Philmar RV. Then, across the street and a mile away from Philmar, I've had work done at Fireweed RV services on my refer that was fast and, well, not exactly cheap, but about what I expected for service in Canada. Plenty of RV parks there too.

Check the local phone book for truck repair shops within a reasonable driving distance. I had the dually rear brake pads replaced at Whitehorse, $600 Canadian. Have any repairs done in the lower 48 unless money is no object.
