Replace ceramic tile floor

I have a Country Coach Inspire with cracked and loose ceramic floor tile. I want to replace the ceramic tile floor with new ceramic tile. I need to know the latest methods being used to control the movement in the sub-flooring that causes ceramic tile to come loose. Is anyone using Ditra or similar type products to provide better adhesion to the wood sub-floor? Is anyone using tile setting compounds other than thinset mortar? Are there any internet sites that provide information concerning tile installations in Motorhomes? Thanks

Ditra is only as good as the modified / unmodified thin set used. Porcelsin tiles have a better history with resiliance. All tile products used on floors have some negatives in the MH enviroment. :-)

Agree, there is movement in the subfloor to some point, they look good but I never liked tile in any unit just because the chance of cracking. I have seen some that been down for years with no issues, I know it's a bear and a mess to remove and clean up.
