Replace magnatek 7345RU

I want to replace the Magntek 7345RU with the Progressive Inteli power P 9130. I understand this is not a "drop in" Do I need to be an electrician to do the switch. I mean if this is a complicated switch I may forget it as I do not wish to screw it up.. Anybody do this conversion ??

I recently replaced the original Magnatek (50amp single stage) with a PD 9245. The switch was easy. Cut the charging wires and ground off the Magnatek and removed it. Dropped in the PD 9245, hooked up the wires and ground, finished.

If memory serves, the PD 9130 is a single stage charger and only 30amps. You and your batteries would be much better served with a PD 9245. It is a 3 stage charger with an added desulfation mode.

I did some shopping and found it for $135 with a free remote pendent.
