Replaced old flooring

Hello all,
Our 07 Fleetwood discovery 40X flooring is on the way out! We are putting in an engineered wood floor. We have a good plan in-place however the slide portion is somewhat of a problem. There is an aluminum strip on the slide. I am sure sone one out there has worked through this small issue of how to attach the flooring to it. We thought of stair noise, or some other type of trim. We could use the community advice.
Photos would be greatly appreciated .....
And any details how to overcome this small problem.

Thanks again

Mike

Not positive of how the slide is constructed on your Fleetwood. Check this thread on how I handled the slide and the metal edge with a stair nose trim. This is something I learned from Ernie E. here on the forums.

Stair trim works great with engineered flooring to cover edge.

Can't answer your specific question. I recently replaced all of my carpeting with hand scraped engineered hardwood flooring. We glued the flooring down. One thing I learned in doing this is that because of the confined space, it is much easier to back butter each piece rather than spread the glue across the floor.
