Replacement chair/recliner booth
OK, I have tried to figure this out, no luck. I have a 09 Allegro 35QBA with the barrel chair by the entry. It is uncomfortable and kind of ugly. The new ones have a nicer chair with the ottoman.
Prices I have seen for a Euro recliner have been form $300, to $2500 bucks.
Anybody have an actual recliner (self contained) that would fit/replace the barrel and have any opinions if I should do the recliner or the Euro chair with the ottoman?? The ottoman can serve as another place to sit.
Second question, anybody ever remove a booth and put the table and chairs in??
The sub woofer is under the booth.
Thanks
Milton

For the chair...don't limit your search to "RV" furniture. Furniture is furniture so look for what you want in a furniture store. We replaced our "RV" couch with a double reclining home theater unit we found in a regular furniture store, and a lot cheaper.

Exactly just be sure the pedestal is sound and large enough so it does not tip. Many have removed the booth and put in a table and chairs. You may have to repair some carpet and holes where the booth is anchored.

Replaced the sofa with two Lazyboys and a custom cabinet between. The ugly barrel chair was replaced with a custom Computer/TV cabinet.

I found one at Sam's...half the price of an "RV" chair and twice as comfortable.

When we first found our coach a few years ago one thing that attracted us was that the previous owners had removed the sofa in favor of open floor space , and bought recliners. But their taste ran to european, and they had bought a couple of custom Lambright chairs, from Indiana. Well made, but narrow and spare , not to our liking. So we took them out, sold them, and went right down to La-Z-Boy and bought a pair of big cushy comfy recliners- the kind you can really fall asleep in. We love 'em-- and so does the cat !

Removed booth and installed table and chairs, love it. When removing booth it's just held with a few screws and the holes can be filled with like colored caulk. I made a table out of walnut and applied an automotive clearcoat for durability. Stole two chairs from the s/b kitchen that matched well. I don't know what to do if your booth has seat belts to fill the holes the belt bolts will leave.

WE replaced the sleeper-sofa with a Lazy boy reclining love seat, then the chair with a lazy boy recliner.. much more comfortable. I like the table & chair idea except we really use the storage under the booth seats.

We replaced the couch with two euro recliners. Took up too much room with footstools, and got really hard to get out of for an old fat man. Got rid of them and put in two wall away recliners. Much better.

I am looking for an Euro-recliner as well.
Camping World has one in their latest flier for about $450 (??). I don't want to order one without hearing some user comments.
Anyone have any experience with that chair?
