Replacement Decals

Our 2004 Phaeton is in very good shape but the deteriorating decals are making it look a little rundown. We are in the San Francisco Bay Area. Does anyone know if Tiffin sells decals directly? Or, does anyone know of a good place to have the decals removed and replaced? Finally, any idea of cost?

I'd also be interested to know if there are any products out there that can "perk" up the finish a little if I can't afford new decals right now.

Thanks for any advice you can share.

Check with an auto body shop to see if they can get decals for you. I had to have new ones for my Outback trailer a few years back and the body shop was able to have them made locally. Not sure if they used pics or contacted the manufacturer for computer designs.

Call Tiffin at 256-356-8661 and follow the prompts for parts. They should have what you need when you give them the last 6 or so of your coach serial number.

Before you buy decals, check on the price of paint. Paint last much longer and looks better for a much longer period of time.

What kind of paint did you use? We've actually considered that but aren't sure what to use on the fiberglass.

I had a local sign shop make new emblems out of 10 year 3m vinyl for all of $3 each for my Executive logo. They matched the font perfectly.
You may want to consider this option.

Huh? 3 Bucks?? Now that's a deal. I have been getting some pricing for my 2002 KSDP. If I do the removal and install the new stripes the prices are running $1600-2000. Add another grand for removal and install or around $2800-3000.

Yeah, can you imagine $3? Even though I only needed 4, I bought 6 for a couple spares. Also, they're keeping the design in their computer database should I need more.
They apparently didn't get the memo to crank up the price for RV, Marine, or Harley Davidson.

Perhaps I should mention that my Executive decals are approximately 6" tall by 20" long. We're not talking "billboards" here.

The same paint they use on fiberglass body Corvette.
