Replacement source for broken drawer slide supports

Hi everyone!

I have a 2004 Damon Challenger 348W. While working on an electrical problem, I noticed that several of the plastic supports for the slides on the drawers have broken:

Does anyone know a good source to replace these?

thanks

zog

I found some at Lowes that aren't exact but worked. Had to replace a bunch.

Just replace the slides on the drawer with full extension ball bearing type.
You will be much happier.
there the same dimension for side clearance. 1/2" not hard to do.
Lower or HD have them. Cheaper online.

You can usually find some replacements at the big hardware stores. You can also buy a small metal "L" bracket at the hardware store, bolt it to the end of the drawer slide and screw it to the wall. The holes are already there.

If you have a woodworking store near you, they usually have drawer parts. Replacing with a better drawer slide is an option, as someone already mentioned.

Possible stores: Rockler, Woodworker's Supply, Woodcraft, etc.

Internet search: "woodworking suppliers" or "drawer slides"

Sorry to give more details. You want the 251E plastic bracket pair, item no COA0251EPBPR.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. It seems to me that they would be more solid with less of a chance for breaking again.

I think that I will start changing out my sliders like your suggesting once I do the L bracket repairs. My girlfriend is always complaining about how the drawers slide.

Thanks everyone!

Ditto Gluck Inc. Bought mine on e-bay but think they will sell direct. Buy extras then no others will break

A friend has same and tossed them.

Please look at your photo and observe the holes in the rail.

Get a piece of 1 X 2 or other trim wood from the store or angle aluminum or ???

Place it vertical just outside the rails resting on floor and secure rails to vertical support with flat head screws.

I just bought a bunch of them for my 1998 American Tradition. I got them from camping World. They cost about 4 buck for a set.
