Replacement water heater

I have a 2005 Holiday Rambler Neptune that needs a new water heater. My problem is that the water heater has been replaced with a non OEM unit. Does anyone know the correct model # for this unit that allows inside control of propane and electric power?

Either a Suburban or Atwood. They have different cut outs, so all you need to do is measure the opening and search online.
How do you know its non standard?

3E was LAST model with Separate 120VAC and Propane controls/t-stats etc.

No Longer in production or available.

4E is current model (since 2004 to present)
Uses Common DC circuit as shown in Wiring diagram above^^^^

3E can be replaced with 4E just need to add/change/modify DC and AC wiring

See Pgs 23,24,25 in this Service Manual
https://manuals.heartlandowners.org/...e%20Manual.pdf

Replacement parts and replacement tank ARE available for the 3E version.

Something to maybe consider is a tankless.
If I was replacing a water heater would definitely look at a tankless...

Check out this video

And this article.
