Replacement wheel?

Last November I called Coachnet for a flat tire.

They sent out a guy who removed the inside rear passenger tire. It turns out the auto valve was stuck open and the tire just deflated. He filled it back up, put it back on and sent me on my way.

Shortly thereafter the coach started vibrating like crazy. I stopped at a tire shop this time rather than call for road side assistance. The guy took the wheel off and put my spare on to try it out. It worked and I was in a bit of a rush so I left the spare on.

So now the spare has been on ever since and I just had a blow out, luckily right by my house on one of the doubles so I was able to get it parked at home.

So I'm looking at my previous wheel to put on as a spare and I think the Coachnet guy put the lugnuts Click image for larger version

Now this was back in November so I don't know if I have any recourse with Coachnet. If I can find a cheap replacement wheel I won't bother trying to get them to replace it.

It's an inside rear wheel so it doesn't need to look good.

The tire says M120z 255/70R22.5

What kind of money am I looking at finding a used wheel? Click image for larger version

Most of the wheels pictured there are "hub pilot" wheels yours is a "stud pilot" wheel, needless to say they are not interchangeable.

There are a few RV salvage places near me in Sacramento, CA. I'm just trying to figure out what a fair price is for a used wheel. $75?

Also, what is the best price I should look for for a new tire. On the road I've usually paid $600 ea. I'm hoping since I have time to shop I can find a better price.

While your at it double check the other matching wheel and the wheel studs of that position for abnormal wear.

What may cost $75.00 in one place could cost more in California. The stud plot wheel is an older style wheel and moay not be as readily available as newer hub pilot.

That would be a stainless steel or chrome hubcap made to look like a wheel that generally is secured by various mechanical attachments to the wheel nuts depending on the manufacture of the cover.

You can order a tire from Simpletire.com. The replacement for the Toyo M120Z is the M122 & is about $300 + FET & shipping depending on which speed rating you choose in that size

Just a reminder, if your coach came with steel wheels, and you are thinking of putting on aluminum wheels, make sure the tire lugs are going to be long enough first. Aluminum wheels are much thicker than their steel cousins.
