I used the original Allure planks iabout a year ago and am very satisfied with it.

To mitigate some of the known problem characteristics, such as imperfections in the sub-floor showing through the allure flooring, I used a tile pattern with a slightly textured surface, rather than a wood planking pattern. Also, any gaps that do show up with extreme temperature changes, are not nearly as noticable with the tile pattern and can be easily filled (permanently disguised) with a matching caulk or vinyl tile grout. I think mine still looks great.

I was also lucky in that my older hydraulic slide never touches the floor whether in or out, so I have no problem with interference or scratching of the new floor when operating the slide.

I understand the OP couldn't use the tile pattern since he already had quality ceramic tile on portions of the floor.

We installed this same material in our Allegro Bay and it is doing great. The install was not bad at all and so much better than carpet. We have had no problem with the slide at all. We did leave the carpet in the driving area and bedroom.

I finally finished the floor. I still have to find a good molding for the transition from the tile kitchen to the new floor and I am going to put truck bed liner around the drivers pedals. Overall, I am very pleased with the floor. We also recovered some cushions. Feels like a new camper again.
