Replacing coolant recovery tank on Onan generator

For those of you that have replaced the coolant recovery tank on your Onan generator, how did you remove the hose clamps? They look like they are a one shot deal and I will be replacing with a standard screw on band clamp but just wondering what the best method is for removing them.

I think op is wanting to change the plastic coolant tank and if I had a guess it's leaking because of a brass fitting splitting the tank.

Is this a common issue? I have had a small leak on mine for about a month now. It seems to leak as much as I put in the reservoir.

I have an Onan 7500 so I cant only see a sliver of the tank. Is there an easy way to check if this is my issue too?

Yes this is a fairly common issue for the QD7500-QD8500s where a small crack (or cracks) appear where the hoses attaches to the tank.

Ok, I found this video that shows one option for removing the crimp/pinch clamps.
