Anyone replaced a couch with a desk? The wife is an avid embroiderer and would like a desk setup in place of one of the couches in our DP. Anyone ever done this?
Anyone know of a company that makes RV type desks? We want something extremely steady as the machine is quite heave and moves a lot.

I removed the J-couch a while back with the intension of replacing it with a desk but couldn't find a piece that fit that wouldn't have to be custom made, so I ended up putting the couch back. Now I'm considered replacing the kitchen table with a desk. Who knows what I won't do next!

Yes, I have done similar in two MHs. Sold the MH couch easily on craigs list. Bought "house" desk to replace with. As soon as "rv" becomes part of the deal the price jumps.
