We replaced carpet with Pergo XP laminate. Used Home Depot aluminum tile moulding on slideout and aluminum floor moulding for rollers to transition to floor level. Both form a seal when the slideout is fully extended. We use a plastic runner for protecting the flooring when retracting the slideout. I chose not to mess with the ceramic tile under the cabinets. Big enough project as it was.

I have to relate my experience. We had a smallish 5th wheel and needed new flooring. We bought some fairly high end vinyl self stick tiles. It was a really hot summers day when I installed. I left the tiles in the unit to acclimate and spent a lot of time cutting and fitting. It looked great. We went out for a camp out in the fall cold weather and the tile got cold along with everything else. The gaps that grew between the tiles just didn't seem to stop- the whole floor looked like a 6 year old had been practicing.
