Replacing Furniture (recliner or sofa)

We are looking at purchasing a 2001 Newmar Dutch Star and may replace the chair with a recliner or second sofa. The door is on the front passenger side. I was informed that most furniture can be disassembled??? True??

Also where is a good place to purchase quality RV furniture?

(Note: we are new users and have found the forum to be extraordinary and helpful!! Lots of useful discussion.)

Thanks to all!!!

Most La-Z-Boy items the backs come off for ease of entry through narrow doorways. We're considering LZB recliners for our coach. We've had a LZB motion couch & loveseat in our SnB for nearly 20 years. Great product, although I have heard they aren't made in America anymore - haven't confirmed that though.

In our 2000 Dutch Star DP we replaced the rocker recliner with a La Z Boy. Was easy, just take the back off and load it in. Harder to take the old one out as I removed the passenger seat first
In our 2002 DSDP I removed the hide a bed in pieces and took it out the front door. Bought three La Z Boy rocker recliners and took the backs off and through the front door. Easy as pie. It was harder to get the old recliner out than put the three new ones in as I again removed the passenger seat.

We threw the hideabed sofa out and replaced it with 2 euro recliners. Dismantled the couch and it went out very easily. The recliners had to be assembled inside.
