replacing mh toilet /adding riser

would like to know how difficult it is to remove toilet and add riser and replace toilet. any advise would be appreciated. is there more to this than installing a house toilet?

Not a big deal. The only problem may be extending the water supply the few extra inches. Having the right Tools helps!
The risers that I have seen are only about 3 Inches.
Some Handicap type Toilet seats are even higher and can be installed and removed easily without pulling the entire Stool!

If it's just extra height that you are after, Walmart sells a medical riser for the toilet. Used one in ours after the wife's hip replacement. Cost, I think, was about $15. No fuss, no muss.

I'm chuckling. Two years ago with a 5er I decided to raise the toilet due to my knees. Well, heck! Since it was in the shop I told them to order me a 17 inch toilet. Then I picked up a riser and installed it. We headed out. Several weeks later I removed the riser. DW did not like sitting there with her feet a few inches off the floor.

Be careful what you ask for. Measure twice, install once.

The installation was not problem. As a matter of fact I was able to secure the flange better with through the floor bolts versus those inky-dinky wood screws.

We have both the high profile Bravura (they make two seat heights - high profile 16 1/4 inch and low profile 13 1/8 inch ) and the riser (2 inches I think). My wife is almost as tall as I am so it works for us, however just the taller toilet would probably been okay without the riser.

Mine was like Wayne M, When I bought it, the previous owner had a riser installed. When it was traded at Lazy Days, they replaced the toilet and put in a tall toilet on top of the riser. I'm 6'4" and my feet would not tough the floor.
