If you have a CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Light), changing to LEDS may stops its function. There is a sensor that mounts between the Right and Left Stop light to sense when to turn on. LEDS may not draw enough current for the CHMSL sensor to work. There are replacement sensor designed for LED lights
The change to LED stop lights did not affect my center stop light whatsoever.
Someone asked if I'd post a picture of mine, I can't because it's snugly backed into the garage for the winter, and an angled picture doesn't show the lighting as seen from the rear.
