Replacing the Multimedia controller/in-wall DVD player in my RV

My 2011 Fleetwood Storm has the Linear Series brand LS5050 multi-media receiver (photos attached). It is primarily used as a DVD player that feeds a push button "mixer" box that sends sound and video through coax cable to the front and rear TVs. It also sends sound (TV/radio) to a little switch box that allows sound from the unit to go either to outside speakers or speakers in the house by the front TV. I bought the RV used, but I'm assuming that it came standard with the Storm when it rolled off the assembly line in 2010.

The DVD player is pretty much on its last legs after 33,000 miles of getting beat up on this F53 chassis : ) It only plays about a small fraction of our DVD library without some sort of load error.

I did find ONE place that still sells this unit, but I'd like to replace it with something that is perhaps more modern, with perhaps a touchscreen and better remote control.

Where do I begin with this??? The opening in the cabinetry is 9" x 7" and about 8" deep. Are their "standards" in the RV multimedia category where I can replace this LS5050 with another (different/modern) unit, and expect it to fit in the same "standard" 9" x 7" x 8" opening that the old one did AND have the same types of plugs (speakers, coax, etc.) and power source (I assume 12V)?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good replacement? I don't need anything fancy, but I would like something nicer than the unit I have now.
