Residential fridge recommendations

We have decided to upgrade our Norcold fridge to a residential equivalent in our 2002 Travel Supreme motorhome. We are limited in depth obviously and consequently limited in models to chose from.

For those who have residential fridges, what models do you have and why do you like/dislike them?

Thanks in advance!

It would help if you provide MH floor plan model and also what type of refer you have.

If you have a Norcold 12XX series, the Samsung 197 is a pretty good fit. That is what I did and don't regret it one second!

Don't have the floor plan but it's a 38' Travel Supreme DS02. The fridge we have is the 1200 series Norcold.

Our fridge is in the curbside slide, so the RF197 was a tad too tall for us. We replaced our 1201 with a Whirlpool ED2FHEXVS. While we really liked the Samsung RF197, the side-by-side Whirlpool was almost $500 less expensive and had water and ice dispensed in the door (we drink a lot of water). But best of all was the platinum finish -- because it is not stainless steel it will accommodate our refrigerator magnet collection! WooHoo! \ken

There are a number of us TS owners who have replaced our Norcolds with the Samsung 197. If you do a search on the TS owners forum you will find all the info you need.
