My Samsung fridge installer used the Southco latches on the French doors BUT they were only there for one day before I removed them. I absolutely hated the fact that you had to TUG each door to open it and then PUSH each door hard to close it. Under normal circumstances the doors would close on their own using the magnetic seals. So off they came and now we use a 14 inch Velcro strap as shown in a previous post.
Speaking of the Sugatsune latch, you have to be very careful how that latch gets installed. One Monaco owner decided to screw it onto the fridge instead of using 3M double-sided tape. Screwing into the doors or drawer is no problem but when he drilled into the fridge body he punctured a coolant tube thereby ruining a brand new fridge.
