Residential Refrig. door latches, what kind are these.

While in Quartzsite last spring I saw this refrigerator with these door and freezer latches. I thought they would be easy to locate and purchase. But so far have not been able to find anywhere.

I don't remember if this was a new motorhome or a used one. It was in the lot east of the Big Tent and next to the entrance for the south side of the Big Tent parking. Can someone tell me where I can order these? See photos.

Thanks

For that price they must be made of platinum!!! Thanks for the link, I think I found another design / brand more in my price range.

Our Whirlpool fridge has one of those. It doesn’t work well. The upper and freezer doors were constantly opening during movement. We ended up getting these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0719...b_b_asin_title

They’ve worked for the fridge and a few other hard to secure things.

On your Whirlpool, do you have 2 refrigerator doors on top and the freezer below?

Do you have the 3" or the 4 inch latches?

Thanks,

Yep. Those are the child proof latches we use on everything in our home and coach. Inexpensive too.

I got this last week

I saw it installed on the higher end coaches at the Hershey RV show. It works well. You'll need different screws to attach it to the metal as the ones supplied are for wood. Be careful drilling into the door, especially of you have ice/water in the door. Don't ask me how I know

Good luck!

I saw a fridge lock on a new Fortravel. https://www.amazon.com/QDOS-Adhesive-Fridge-Freezer- I ordered it on Amazon ($12.58) and it works perfectly to keep my fridge closed. Just returned from a 1000 mile trip and the doors stayed closed despite some pretty bumpy roads

We have a French Door fridge with two refrigerator doors up top and a freezer draw. We discovered this latch last year and it is better than anything we'd been using: https://www.recubed.solutions/

It's simple, effective and fairly inexpensive.
