Anyone have a Rexall Airbus? Looking at 1999 30 ft unit. Would like to know about reliability, manufactor support, quality of construction, etc.

Rexhall
First thing is, you need to supply more information to get reliable information back.
Where do you live? Florida? California? makes a difference.
What type of traveling will you be doing? Long term trips? Short, weekenders? Do you have kids? Travel alone?
What type chassis? Ford? Workhorse? Diesel?
Generally speaking, Rexhall makes a decent coach. They are headquartered in Victorville, CA.
When asking for help, always give as much info as possible.
Happy Trails!

If you are okay with servicing your Rexhall locally, then no problem. They are still in business, so parts are little problem.
Also, if you are okay with the length, then go for it!
Happy Trails!

We had a 1997 Rexhall Air Bus 29 with a GM 464 and it was a great RV.v No problems at all. Very well built. We sold it only because it did not have slides and my wife had the bigger RV bug. We had a problem with the dash air, but it was easily corrected. Everything else worked well. Fit and finish was very good.

Thanks, Martin for your reply on the Rexhall Airbus. What type of roof and did you ever have roof issues, leaks, etc.?
Regards,
Randy, Ala.

Thanks for your Rexhall reply. Did you ever have any issues with your roof and was the roof the original roof covering?
Regards,
Randy

Hi Randy,
No leaks at this point. A good thing with Rexhall is that they use a one piece fiberglass roof design, no rubber sheet/cover to worry about. In fact, I believe the body and roof are of a single unit construction.
Martin.

Martin, that is what I wanted to hear, a fiberglass roof. I now have a 1999 30 ft. Cl A with a rubber covered roof and I had a water leak above the driver's seat. I was able to have about 6 ft of the roof replaced that seems to have fixed the leak, but feel it is just a matter of time before I will have to consider a complete reroof which is fairly expensive. Are fiberglass roofs more durable and less likely to leak than rubber roofs?
Thanks for your response,
Randy

Hi Randy,
I had a 96 35' feet Aerbus and loved it. I had a roof leak (From a sat install) and permanently repaired it in a couple of hours.
Of course if you need to pull big, nothing beats a DP.
