Rexhall V25 Questions

I have purchased our first motorhome, a Vision 25 and I have a couple of questions.

I found th GVWR of 15700 lbs but have been unable to find the GCWR so I can determine the towing capacity. Also, until I am able to get a dry weight on the coach I would like some ball park figure.

Can anyone help?

Check in the closets. My first was an Aerbus and that was where everything was.
Good luck

I called Rexhall, they said to call Ford with the vin #. Ford could tell me GVWR but could not tell me GCWR or towing capacity.

I have a 96 Rexhall Aerbus Xl3200. My weight tag is located behind the sofa just behind the drivers seat. The Aerbus has been a great coach for the 15 years that I have had. We are picking up our new to us 2003 American Revolution next week. Yahoooooooooo

That seems odd indeed, since it is Ford who DETERMINES the chassis GCVWR. They may NOT know your vehicles "towing capacity", because that is actually determined by the HITCH rating that Rexhall added, but Ford should know the GCVWR. As you can see from these comments, the two ratings are not necessarily the same.

I just took deliveryof the coach yesterday and I found a chassis booklet which gives the GCWWR as 26000 lbs. GVWR is 15700 so now all I have to do is get the coach weighed dry and determine the hitch rating. Then I should be well on my way.

Thanks to everyone for all the help on our new adventure. Previously we were cruising sail boaters.
