Rhino Linings ECO coat roof restoration system

Can't remember if someone posted some info here or on another forum about this but I am very interested in hearing about anyone's experience with this product. The fact that its virtually maintenance free and comes with a lifetime warranty is very appealing.

Here is some info about the product if anyone is interested: http://www.rhinolinings.com/newseven...ration-product

Thanks!

I have seen this done by Line-X which is nearly the same "stuff" ... very impressive if I ever have to replace mine I may very well go that route.

I have the stuff in the bed of my truck - if it works as well on an RV roof, should be GREAT!

I had a Rhino Liner in my 1999 Toyota Tacoma. It was great! Unfortunately the frame of the truck rusted away underneath it.

I'd be very interested in learning what the cost is of installing this Eco Coat system on the roof of our coach. Up until I saw this I had been considering a Bus-Kote roof, but that is supposedly only good for 7 years.

W1kk3d-

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. I've used the Rhino stuff in my truck beds and very happy. I'm very sure this stuff is a totally different formula as it would have to be for me to use it on my RV rubber roof.

However, no doubt Rhino has done their homework and expect a good product. Will definitley try it when needed.

RVROOF.COM in Florida has some good claims. I have been considering them. I do not have any direct experience to share and they are not kin.

Cost

In the video it was stated that the cost is about the same as for a new rubber roof. Seems like a no-brainer then.

I'm waiting for someone who has actually done it to speak up.

Rhino Linings Eco-Coat

I had the Rhino Linings Eco-Coat roof put on my motorhome in December, 2012. I am very impressed with this new roof. There is no annual maintenance, and I can already tell it is quieter. The final cost was about the same as a new rubber roof. It also has a lifetime guarantee. I had the Eco-Coat roof installed at AZ RV Specialist in Mesa, AZ. I am very happy with the job they did.

Eco coat already took back their lifetime warranty with the Excel Fifth wheels. They are only offering a 5 year limited warranty. What I have never figured out is why would you go to Rhino Eco Coat with no proven Rv experience when there is a company that has been doing it for years on RVs?

In the 5'er forum there are folks who've done this and all are very happy with it. I had a ballpark estimate of $3000 for my 34' class A. I'm doing it early next year.
