If paid by credit card call the repair place and request all monies be credited while on the phone and advise the bank will be asked to do same by end of business day.

Next collect all documents as well as asking the following companies to add detail to bill specifically showing what they did and what root cause was.

Contact consumer affairs department for that state and file a claim and request specifically to confirm fully licensed to perform the work.

Last (for now) is to stop by some body shop or if manufacturer still arround send photos of butchering to them and ask for cost to have it restored at the factory or an authorized service center.

Add 54 cents a mile for round trip 2 times as drop off and pick up.

create a warrant or bill along with a clear letter stating that you are requesting the damage to be repaired by factory authorized servicer and the attached documents show the amount of damage and note that damage may be more.

Request they contact the servicer and setup an account IN THEIR NAME for billing for your unit to be fixed.

Also indicate legal action will follow if you do not receive confirmation of action...

Just some suggestions...

Incredible. I echo all the comments for updating reviews, act to get your money back at the least, and for trying to get some satisfaction past just your money back. Businesses like this need to feel some pain to maybe help others.

2nd-ed here also. These repair shops can live or die on Internet ratings.

Be sure to post reviews so that other will steer clear of very foolish and short sited, unscrupulous people.

Safe travels and keep us posted on your tour of this OUTSTANDING country!!!
