Actually, that may not be so hard to understand. There are only so many companies with the capacity to tow a 30K lb bus. If you were remote you'd likely have to wait due to travel time, and you'd understand that. In the Valley, surrounded by commercial civilization, its possible that the few companies with that capability were committed elsewhere, and simply could not respond on short notice.

We've had CoachNet for two years, used them twice (including a 50-mile tow) and have been extremely pleased. In particular, in both cases their phone rep called us back promptly to let us know precisely when the assistance would arrive.

That is one thing I have to admit, the call board did call back several times to see if we were OK and if the tow had arrived.

I have the BC version of AAA plus RV. I have had to use it on a couple of occasions. When in BC, they were pretty good. When I got stuck in Oregon when my Windscreen popped, I tried call the AAA affiliate and kept getting no answer. I eventually called home to BCAA and explained what the problem was that I was having and they ended up digging up the AAA affiliate in the area where I was stranded. It still took close to 24 hours before I finally got the windscreen remounted. Initially they were talking about Monday and this happened on a Friday afternoon. I patently told the person that I couldn't stay on the side of the road for what would amount to 4 days because I happened to run into a problem on the weekend. They relented after that and had me on my way by Saturday afternoon. Smaller towns, weekends, all that jazz.
