More mechanical ride components spreads the coach weight out over a broader platform. There is a reason why you don't see many breakdown complaints from us Monacoers.....quality components, quality control. Are they the best coaches ever built, lots of us think so. Have there been some issues over the years, in some models, yes. Do your research when you find the one you want to buy. If you do buy a Monaco and decide to resell it, it wont be for sale very long. My Dynasty is 16 yrs old and EVERTTHING still works. I have an rr8s but I am only 38ft long. Driving in the wind is not an issue.

Did they make a RR10R ?

I know lot's of RR8R's, but haven't seen any tag axle rear radiator coaches.

I tried to paste in the Roadmaster chassis models and features chart, but it gets jumbled. Hopefully the .pdf below will open correctly.
You will see the RR10S 42' plus frame rails use rectangular 110,000psi spec steel while the others (except S-Series) use C channel 50,000psi spec.
The only criticism of the RR10S is it's heavier than some of the chassis built today.
To answer Ben's question, yes they did build an RR10R. I think it was the newer Diplomats.

RSR
F4F
RR4R
RR8R
RR10R
RR10S
S-Series
