Roof air not working

Hi, need some advise. I have 2 roof air units. The rear is working fine. The front is not coming on when you turn the switch on. Where do I start to find the problem? Fuses and then what? I am not an electrician so I need so of you experts to help. Thanks, Jim

Pull the cover off the unit ad see if there is power to it. Look at the manual to see if therer is a fuse in the unit, if it trips the breaker to the unit check for a starting capacitor failure. There is an oil type starting capacitor and a run capacitor in each unit. They often fail in 4 to 6 years, Replace them in both units. Dave W

Each A/C has its own 110v breaker in the main breaker box.

Do you have 30 amp or 50 amp service tot he coach. If 30 amp, you may have another selector switch for which air cond. will operate. Please include the year, make and model of your coach with as much information about the problem (what you have checked and found). Thank you.

More info would be helpful in providing assistance. When I had a similair problem it turned out to be the thermostat. Although they were 7 years old, the manufacturer replaced it for free.

Check to see if you tripped one of the breakers located on your generator
