I was just wondering what is the best way to handle the rubber roof chalking on my RV some spots are showing the rubber. It is 14 years old. Thank you for your help.

If the backing is showing, I would wash it clean and coat with one of the several fine EPDM roof coatings on the market. Liquid Roof, Kool Seal RV, etc.

Chalking is natural for EPDM, but at 14 years it has probably lived its useful life. If you can see the woven backing, all the rubber is gone and leaks through the actual roof membrane are soon to follow.
