Hello all, theroc, You are the king. Sometimes I can't see the Forrest for the trees.

So this is what I am going to do order 5 Optronices CB22 from E trailer for the rear have to use the incandescent lamp.

Also will order 5 Optronics CB11WAB the color looks better than the 5 pac (CB-15AK) Yes the base has a measurement of 5 1/2 x 2 3/8.

Then I will carefully try not to damage the base as I remove the top cover, replace the #67 lamp with a LED lamp and then install a new top cover and seal.

Best of both worlds newer plastic, led lamps and get rid of the moisture in the front lights. Without tearing much apart. Thanks again, Joe

Sounds good ...yeah, that's what I'd do if I were in your shoes.

If you haven't yet ordered them, my hunch ...and it's only a guess on my part, is that the reason the covers in the CB-15AK kit appear to be a different color is that the bases for those --for some reason-- are black and the CB11WAB has a white base. Therefore, the color of the cover appears lighter in the illustrations for the CB11WAB. I'm guessing that they use the same cover for both products as if you enlarge the pictures on the etrailer webpages, they have the same exact markings --"SAE P2PC 89 DOT2" So again, it's just a guess on my part that they are the same. However, it's not that much more expensive to order them separately so it's not that big of a deal.
