Roof Structure/Framework

We own a 2002 Alpine 36" center door coach. We are the third owners and love it. I knew, once I completed the research for our coach purchase that the Alpine was the only coach for us! The main TV is an Emerson 19" mounted in a wooden cabinet, centered over the dash. I want to mount a 32/36" flat screen on a 90degree fold up mount. I plan on mounting to the ceiling by removing the Emerson and perhaps mounting the bracket/hinge within that space. Does anyone know (short of drilling a hole every 6") how to locate the roof/ceiling framework/braces/cross joints? I would appreciate greatly! Thanks

My cabinets are screwed to the ceiling, and the screws are 16" apart. Yours are too probably. Just extend the mounting screw hole positions forward from your side wall cabinets.

If you have slides on both sides, then maybe use an electronic stud finder?
