roof vents

How do you check the holding tank vents to make sure they are not clogged ?
do the solar roof vents really help evac the fumes ?

You could completely drain the tanks. Pour water down the vents and then pull the handles on the drains to see if water comes out.

Pour a little bleach down into the tank and take a whiff up above, you'll know.
