Routine Undercarriage Fastener Tightening

Just came back from a 3,000 mile plus trip and had several issues. Most of these issues were due to bolts loosening up as a result of the poor roads. I was wondering if others have had this issue and if there are things that should be routinely checked for tightness.

Don't know if others have had the issue, but part of the Workhorse maintenance scheme is checking chassis u bolt tightness. It is a 12K miles check. You can find the Workhorse schedule here on iRV, search for Workhorse Gas Chassis Maintenance Schedule

In 2009 we took a +14K trip from TN to Alaska with return trip down the Kasiar Hwy and the west coast to Napa CA. I did not have any bolts loosen up on the chassis. We now have +99K miles on the coach and the Roadmaster Chassis performed well.

Do you mean the driveshaft universal joints?

The prop shaft bolts are always a good candidate, but my belief is that they mean the u-bolts that secure the springs to chassis and axels. I think in the Workhorse manual there is a drawing of lube points and torque points. Don't have the manual at hand as I type this, so am working off my faulty memory.
