RPM vibration

Left WY this morn for CO I notice a slight vibration engine rpm related. Driveline, engine acc. drive OK. 1500 RPM and above it seems to kick in. Not terrible just trying to get to the bottom of it before we leave again.

Check tires for any problems. We had a tire develop a ply separation and I got out an looked for the problem several times before I found it.

U-joints on a large RV are like the joints on a midrange truck... something you need to put a pry bar in the joint and really lean on it when they first start to fail...

Usually if you feel the vibration and it's a u-joint, by slightly lifting your foot off the throttle... will take the pressure off the u-joint and the vibration will diminish for a bit...

hope this helps...

So ; if I'm reading your post correctly your getting the same vibration at 1500 RPM in every gear . Can you duplicate the vibration @ 1500 RPM, in neutral ?

Or is the vibration once you get to 1500 when driving in 6th at highway speed?

Same in every gear 1st thru 6th only 1500 RPM & above. Had DW run it up to 1700 tonight while I was back at the engine bay with door open did not see or here anything noticable AC belt might be a little loose Thanks

Every gear 1500 and up , there is the possibility of harmonics, engine , transmission torque converter, or motor mounts . The every gear; above 1500; just about rules out the drive shaft .

Is the air filter stock , or has it been changed to a K&N or other aftermarket filter?
How many trips have you been on with the coach ?
Is this your first long trip?
I take it; this is the first trip where you've noticed the issue.
