Rubber Roof

Today I'm going to put Liquid Rubber Roof on my Rv (w/catalyst) My question concerns the longevity of this product. The gurantee (I believe) is 5 years. How long has anybodies roof( who has used this stuff) really lasted before another coating was needed ? My roof is 15 yrs old and though it looks alright I believe in resurfing it now rather than wait till it is leaking..Foresight is better than hindsight.
Thanks ahead of time for all replies...

Well mine is a 1997. I clean my rubber roof once a year and re-caulk where needed with Dicor self leveling Lap Sealant. Still looks good. Should still be go for several more years. I hope.

I've talked to a few of the companies selling the product you're going to apply. They have all said that it's like applying another roof and I think you're doing it at the right time too.
My coach is a 99 and it had been coated a few years before I purchased it. And I don't see mine needing replacement although I think next year I'll coat it again.

I have gotten first hand reports of several year lasting success coating RV roofs using the latex rubber roof coating sold at Walmart for $20 a gallon having the same product number as the coating sold at RV stores for $60 a gallon.
