I would read the label and instructions to see if it is suited for rubber roofs.

Some treatments state clearly not suitable for rubber roofs.

If it has petroleum distillates in it then NO.

A quick Google search came back with a mixed bag - some acrylic-based adhesives are perfect for EPDM; some are catastrophically bad for EPDM. Sorry... you're gonna have to read the can and/or contact the manufacturer.

It reads..."For all EPDM or equivalent RV roof applications, we recommend that you contact your RV supplier or manufacturer for their recommendations for the acrylic based adhesive." and goes on to say, it does not have petroleum in it.

My guess that it is safe to use on EPDM roofs, but just checking to be sure.

The roof material manufacturer will (of course) recommend their own brand. If it's Dicor membrane, then https://dicorproducts.com/catalog/ro...ding-adhesive/

Why not buy an adhesive that is rated for use with EPDM? Any of these:
Adhesives | EPDM Bonding Adhesives, EPDM Adhesive, Rubber Roof Adhesive

My guess is that it's possible it's safe for EPDM. My gut tells me they put in that disclaimer to blame the manufacturer because something could go wrong.

If it were me, I'd toss that can and buy the right stuff I know is made to EPDM. It's simply not that expensive.

Wryly Blithe/Gary RVRoamer: Yeah, I too think it's just a disclaimer. It's a project I'm doing and it already comes with the acrylic based adhesive. Thxs all for your help!!
