Rubber Trim

Hello one and all,

My spouse and I own a 2001 Holiday Rambler "Admiral" 30 ft class A. All of the rubber trim along, over, and around the body is discolored with black spots and streaks.
Can anyone suggest a dealer from whom to purchase replacement rubber and how the heck does it come off? I know some of the trim on my older trailer simply fit into a channel and it peeled off and the new piece was forced on, but I am not sure how the HR does it. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff and Diane in Akron, Ohio

Our '01 HR Admiral white rubber trim all around the body such as at the roof line and chair rail did exactly that, pulled out with enough force and left us with sore fingers after replacing.

Perhaps you can post pictures of which rubber trim you are referring to.

We bought a few rolls of generic white rubber trim from Amazon years ago and it sure did look good when it was done.

We may even have a roll or two left if it helps.

Thanks for the info.... this would be all of the rubber trim that runs horizontally and the vertical parts front and rear. It is almost like a rub rail you would find on a yacht. Did it simply pull out and did you have to do anything special to get it back in?
Do you happen to recall from whom you got it? I haven't been able to locate any, so if you have some available, let me know what you would like for it...

Thanks, Jeff

Actually what we have left over after just pulling it from a bin in the garage is a roll of 3/4" narrow insert trim white 25 feet. Which we are pretty sure was not the correct stuff (size) for our Admiral, hence it was misordered and leftover.

But we seem to recall (from several years ago, and we sold it about 5 years ago) that the 3/4" was too narrow and the Admiral had a 1" molding, but don't quote us on that. Please remove some and measure for it greater accuracy.

The insert we used is made by Designer Collection;

Best of luck!
