Rubber water valve control levers

The fresh water drain valve and the main water control valve that switches between normal use and tank fill both have flimsy rubbery control levers. I removed ours yesterday and would like to replace both with a metal lever of some type. They are pex valves with a round stem with two flat sides. Thanks.

I had the same issue. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying a valve that had a metal handle and taking off the handle and putting it on the RV valve.

That is exactly what I have considered, just wondered if the handles would fit, thanks!

I will have to retap the screw threads since some genius before we owned the mh put a sheet metal type screw in the fine threaded hole on one. Oh well, a man’s work is never done especially if you own a RV!

Or just replace the valve with a brass one from homedepot. I replaced one in the HD parking lot. PEX.

I think this is what you are looking for. I replace both of mine with these. And they don't drip!
