I used loctite pl construction adhesive , I used it on the trim too dw was kicking them loose when exiting they were pulling off the finish nails

That loctite is good stuff. I have used it at work but never thought of using it in the motorhome. Thanks

Looks very nice! Do you have a slideout? I would like to update our 2000 Southwind. I do not know how to get carpet out from under the slide out. Any Ideas or Pictures anyone?

That would depend on the manufacturer. What I have in print is for our Newmar and probably wouldn't apply to very many others.

Thanks flair30h. I am in the planning stage. I would like to have some game plan to start this project and to know what steps i need to do. If any one has a Southwind with a slide out and has helpful information I would appreciate it. sorry to tag onto your thread.

Very nice job! It looks great, and should be easier to keep clean. Not to mention, if it gets muddy you just grab a paper towel or two.

It does look good! i am going to do the same thing to our 03 Dutch Star after Thanksgiving. A little nervous and excited about starting. i will post pictures too. Thanks for the inspiration. David

It was a lot more work than I thought. Hopefully you have easy access to your motorhome. Mine is in storage 15 miles away. Do it before it gets cold too, that was an issue with gluing the floor down. Good luck!
