RV Cams.com and Rear camera systems

Anyone had any experience with rear backup camera systems sold by RVcams.com in Baton Rouge, La.? I am in need of a simple, cost effective, and dependable rear camera system for my 31 ft. class A motorhome that I can install myself. I have also looked at rearviewsafety.com camera system.

I don't know about the particular camera. But, RVCams is a great company. I have purchased quite a few systems from them, prices and service are second to none. I have a 4 camera system on a rock crawler, and a 5 camera system on the RV.

I've worked with RVCams helping friends fix their cameras as well as mine. Tim seems to be one of the few that will help you troubleshoot over the phone, advise you if your system is worth fixing and offer options.
I read a lot about him on various forms and everyone seems satisfied with his work.
I'd personally give him first shot at any repair or purchase then shop around.

You might check out this $92 system. Great bargain and I'm completely satisfied with it. Uses same components as many systems that are 2, 3 or 4 times as expensive.

I purchased a camera and monitor setup when I installed a rear view camera on our previous fifth wheel. Tim was knowledgeable and very helpful.
No problems at all in my dealings with the company.
