RV Comfort 2C AC Problem

There was a thread covering this but it is too old to post on and didn't ever have a resolution. I have a 2011 Bounder with this heat/ac system and the zone 1 thermostat reading is very high, while zone 2 is normal. The sensor for zone 1 is in front above the power center. I think the power center produces too much heat, causing the sensor to heat up. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and resolved it.

The OP has a RV Comfort 2C thermostat.

Mgrandysr - I agree with you. Your remote sensor is too close to a significat source of heat. I suggest, if the wiring has enough slack in it, that you simply relocate the sensor away from the heat source. These sensors can fail so if you continue to have a problem, purchase a new sensor and relocate it further away from the heat source.

It had a little slack on the line so I was able to move it out away from the power center. It did help some. Thanks for the help.
