RV Fiberglass Maintenance

2006 34' National Sea Breeze.

Its been a challenge but everything is done. New tires, shocks, alternator, belts, all fluids, back up camera, complete maintenance. Repaired water heater, replaced TV components, slide seals, all batteries, and am even able to manage the ABS sensors.

Fiberglass. Have ordered two Poly Glow kits and the Meguiar's Oxidation Remover. Intend to apply the Meguiar's product first, removing the primary oxidation. Will follow up with the Poly Prep then apply the Poly Glow.

I cannot seem to get this answered so any assistance would be appreciated. Can I apply the Poly Prep and the Poly Glow to the decals, without causing any damage to the decals ?

Need to address the black streaks which are not bad but noticeable particularly two areas on the back of the coach. Would also appreciate some help with cleaning the rubber around the windows, and windshield.

Any help is appreciated,

Try Bar Keepers Friend then wax. There are a number of post on this site with pictures before and after. They recomend Zep Wet Look floor wax after bar keepers friend.
I cleaned with bar keepers friend, washed with a mild soap and applied Meguiar's wax with very good results.

TSM, YES on the decals. You can apply Poli Glow no problem.

When I did mine, I didn't detail enough around the edge of the vinyl and had to re-apply within 6-8 months of the initial 6 coats of PG.

Do the poly prep in small sections, wash it off immediately, don't let it dry.

Rubber just clean with soap and water, dry, and apply 303 PROTECTANT on it. Don't Poli glow your rubber. Vinyl, plastic, anything that is fiberglass, but no rubber, and not the aluminum (if they are) basement doors either, Maguier's the basement doors.

You have a great plan, good idea.

303 is good for around the windows, tires and all rubber available online or at west marine.
